Menopause & Perimenopause care
Personalised care for every stage of the menopause journey
Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes that affect much more than your menstrual cycle. Changes in sleep, mood, energy, weight, concentration, sexual health and overall wellbeing can have a significant impact on everyday life.
Dr Bronwyn Edwards provides personalised women's health care for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause, with a focus on understanding your individual symptoms, health priorities and treatment options. Dr Edwards is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Master's in Women's Health. She has extensive experience in women's health, including menopause, contraception, fertility planning, antenatal and postnatal care.
Our menopause service provides dedicated time to explore your concerns, assess your overall health and develop a personalised management plan that is right for you.
Why choose San GP Centre for menopause care?
A personalised approach
Every woman's menopause experience is different. Our approach focuses on your individual symptoms, health history, concerns and goals.
Dedicated consultation time
Our comprehensive assessment allows time for a detailed discussion rather than trying to fit complex menopause concerns into a routine consultation.
Personalised menopause management plan
Your management plan is documented in your medical record and tailored to your individual needs, treatment options and goals.
Menopause symptom tracking
A structured symptom assessment can be completed at your initial consultation and repeated at follow-up to help monitor changes over time.
Whole-woman health
Menopause is an opportunity to review your health more broadly, including bone health, cardiovascular and metabolic health, sleep, mood, lifestyle, weight and sexual health.
Evidence-informed hormone therapy discussion
Where clinically appropriate, Dr Edwards can discuss menopause hormone therapy options, including potential benefits, risks and alternatives, as part of an individualised treatment plan.
Continuity of care
Our aim is to support you throughout your menopause journey — from your initial assessment through to ongoing review and management.
